A young man, lost in the endless scroll of meaningless social media, receives a cryptic notification inviting him to a livestream titled “Witness the Ascension.” Curious, he joins.

What begins as a disturbing vertical broadcast framed like any other piece of disposable content, quickly reveals something far more sinister. The ritual unfolding deep within the forest does not feel recorded… it feels directed at him. The cult onscreen is not performing for an audience. It is watching him back.

As the ritual escalates, the vertical frame becomes a trap and pulls him deeper into the event. The boundary between viewer and participant dissolves.
